Why does my site description on google not match my SEO that I have in my site?

When I search for my site on google (The Adventist Watchman), the description below my title is "With our innovative platform, you'll save time when you most need it, while serving your customers."

When I search for those words on google, several websites come up, which I assume are Duda created sites.

Can someone advise how to remove this description?

Hey @torystcyr! It looks like there are two things happening here. The first has to do with how Google picks search result descriptions. While we can recommend a description using the "meta-description" property that you see in SEO settings, ultimately the search engine decides what content they want to use. You can read a little about that process here if you're interested.

The second has to do with that phrase. It looks like Google chose that because it appears three times on your site, hidden beneath between the terms PROPHECY, ADVENTISM, and BIBLE COURSE and their "Learn More" buttons. You can see it yourself on the live site by pressing the keys Ctrl and F (Cmd and F on a Mac), then typing that phrase.

If you look at that section in your editor, do you see a text widget in those locations with the opacity set to 0% in the font color panel? If so you could delete it and replace it with the Spacer widget instead to achieve the same affect.

Let me know if that helps!
