If you use dynamic pages (agency plan) you won't have to worry about the 1000 page limit. The blog itself is limited to the 1000 page limit though. I recommend Adam's approach for the podcast aspect. You can do a lot with custom widgets (custom code) on Duda sites to make it be whatever you need it to be. Then for content management, you can just update an Airtable base and not even worry too much about the site itself.

Duda is a static website builder, not an email host, so you'll have to set up your email through your preferred email vendor. Duda provides the server space for your website, the world class website builder, lots of awesome features, and great collaboration tools. You can set up cheap email w/ Google Suite or any other email provider and just need to update your DNS records according to the setup provided by that email tool or their support team.

Updates on Duda don't mess up your site. There was one time that a jQuery rollout messed up a single custom widget for about 30 min - 1 hour but they fixed it immediately after I reported it. Duda builds and maintains all of their widgets, so you don't have issues like you see on Wordpress where a plugin could just break. That said, if you add a third-party plugin, THAT could break your site, but that's true on any platform. So don't add random third party scripts unless you've had a developer look at them. They could be malicious or have bad performance.
