Best Way To Help A Restaurant Website

Hi everyone,

Hoping someone has been through this process before and can offer my some insight. I have a local restaurant that we just built a brand new website for via the Duda platform.

They want to be able to add online ordering, marketing to help boost sales and recurring orders/visit to their restaurant.

Currently, they have the Cake POS which offers online ordering but as of now lacks marketing tools. I am trying to avoid a bunch of different apps and want to integrate one app we can utilize to market their website and trying to avoid switching out their POS system. However, when browsing app add-ons in Duda there are two available : Lunchbox and Upmenu and neither integrate with the current POS, Cake.

Anyone have experience with Cake POS and run a marketing campaign? What did you use to make it seamless for the client?

This is a new one for me, and any advice or use cases others have had to help me guide the client would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance,
Jason Hendricks

@my perfect hotel You’re in a tricky spot trying to integrate marketing with Cake POS while avoiding multiple apps. Since Lunchbox and Upmenu don’t integrate with Cake, one option could be to focus on using Cake’s existing online ordering feature and supplement it with a third-party marketing tool that’s separate but user-friendly. Consider tools like Mailchimp for email marketing or using social media ads to drive traffic to the ordering page. It won’t be fully seamless, but it could help boost sales without needing to switch POS systems.
