GUIDE: Getting Started in the Duda Community
Hello, and welcome to the Duda Community!
My name is Scotty, and I’m Duda’s Community Manager, and I want to officially welcome you as a new member.
We want you to feel empowered as you build powerful websites at scale. This community is here to help you grow and succeed. Consider this your central hub for asking questions, finding solutions, getting inspiration, and connecting with experts in the website-building space.
Before diving in, here’s a quick walkthrough of navigating and utilizing the Duda Community.
To get started, check out this quick checklist of things to get you started on the right foot & make the most out of the Duda Community.

- Complete your profile (name, profile photo)
- Create a welcome post - say hi to & introduce yourself to fellow members!
- Follow the categories you’re interested in
Creating Your Account & Profile
To sign up for a Duda Community account, simply click the Log In button in the top right corner. This will allow you to sign in with your existing Duda platform account. If you don’t have an account, you can sign up & create a new one by using the Free Trial option.
Once your account is created, you can edit your account settings, preferences, profile photo, and privacy. Access your profile by clicking on the profile icon in the top right corner:
We encourage you to change your profile photo to a headshot or photo of yourself:
You can also add information about yourself so others can get to know more about you and your business.
How to Create a Post in the Community
Starting a Discussion
Starting a new discussion is easy! To start, you’ll select the New Post button on the homepage. You’ll have four options, and will decide which type of post you want to create.
Once you’ve selected an option, you’ll select which category you want your post to fall under:
Then, provide a title for your post and write the details of your question, announcement, event, or discussion topic:
You can make your content dynamic through rich-text styling as well as the ability to add additional media such as pictures or videos. You can even insert emojis 😀.
Don't forget to add tags to your discussion—more on that later. Keep reading!
After you've finished your content, you can click Post Discussion to go live or select Save Draft if you'd like to finish up and post later.
Posting a Comment
Posting a comment is easy. Just click on a discussion you wish to comment on, and add your comment in the Leave a Comment field. Once completed, click Post Comment. Ta-da!
How to find what you’re looking for
The search bar at the top of the community home page is the fastest way to find anything you’re looking for. Simply type a word or phrase and you can find any discussions that match what you’re interested in.
The Duda Community has several categories to help you participate in topics that you’re interested in. Within these categories, you can filter further for specific subjects.
The Community is the perfect place to ask any questions you have about the platform, features, and functionality. You can also get advice on your projects, solutions that have worked for others, and more.

You can start discussions about anything you’d like, whether it’s related to website-building, industry news, or anything else you’re interested in!

If you’re interested in a particular category, you can follow the discussions easily. For example, if you’d like to follow Ask a Question, simply click the bell icon.
This section of the homepage helps you quickly navigate to recent discussions and activity in the Community. You can also jump to anything you’ve bookmarked as well as all of the discussions you’ve created.
Located on the homepage, this section helps you browse all the latest blog posts, product updates, and upcoming webinar events. Consider this part of your central hub of knowledge on all things Duda.
Interacting with others in the Community
If you know of someone in the community that may be able to help or provide some insight into a particular question or discussion, you can mention them in a comment and let them know they can participate.
Anyone who is mentioned will be notified of the activity so they can take action.
To mention someone, simply enter the “@” symbol and type the individual’s community member handle. Then, select it from the populated options below.
You can tag anyone in a discussion thread, whether it’s someone who started the discussion, or someone who can help the conversation!
