Can I set a default image for my dynamic page images if the collection has no data?

I have a hero image set up on my dynamic pages for clients - most of my clients have a hero image to put in the collection but some do not - if there is no image in the collection for a specific client - their page just shows a white blank space - am i able to set a default image to show instead is this something i could do by editing the html of the image widget that is connected to data??
