Duda and Online Ticket Sales for Events

Hi - have a client who wants a website that can sell event tickets. Does anyone have any experience with this and integrating Duda? I don't see an app, nor a recommended vendor.

Is it simply a case of using a ticketing platform/vendor (there seems to be plenty of 'em) and just linking to their platform?

Any recommendations? Thanks

A 3rd-party ticketing platform is probably what you need.

Since I am a JotForm user, I would also take a look at that. You can definitely take payments, and generate a PDF ticket (or something like that). But, it falls short, I think, if you need scannable barcodes or other means of integrating with validation and event check-in.

There is nothing native in Duda that serves this function.

Thanks Bruce, I'll check it out, client's still deciding on functional requirements for ticketing.

Ticketleap and Eventbright have worked for us in the past. You're able to take the embeddable code onto the website through html widget and it will live on your clients site so they can make their purchase "directly" through your client.

I use TryBooking. It's free for free events and the platform takes a percentage for any ticket sales. So it's good that there are no monthly fees. It has a simple bit of html code to embed on your site. It's Australian but you can also use it in US, UK and New Zealand: https://www.trybooking.com/ (not sure of other countries)
