eCommerce Software Download Link + Licensing

Hi all,

I have a client that sells security hardware and software to go along with it. For the software, I'll need to find a solution that enables a customer to visit the eCommerce store and purchase the software to provide them with a download link & licensing for the software.

Does anyone have any brilliant ideas that they'd like to share?

    I know you can do digital downloads, but I am not sure on the license aspect. You can check out this ECWID article I found.

    Ultimately, we're going to recommend Shopify to this client.
