Best Way to Sell Event Tickets in Duda

Hi all!

I have a client who will be running events on a regular basis, and would like to sell tickets directly from their Duda website.

What is currently the best way to achieve this? The features the client needs are:

  • ability to set maximum number of tickets to sell for the event
  • ability to create discount vouchers/promo codes
  • ability for ticket purchaser to view purchase history

Is this something that can be done with the native store, or membership feature? Or is this something that needs a third-party app? Or is it not possible at all?

Any guidance appreciated.

    All the features you mentioned are available using the native store.

    • ability to set maximum number of tickets to sell for the event - you can do this by limiting the inventory for a product - for example create a separate product for each event and set the maximum number of tickets in the inventory count.     • ability for ticket purchaser to view purchase history - this can be done by using the login feature. This is built in for all stores, but in order for site visitors to use it you will need to add a login widget to your site. Once a user logs in they will be able to see their order history.     Thanks for the suggestions, @Aj_Cre8 — we had already had a look at the third-party "Booking & Events" apps available currently in the Duda App Store. They are all geared at either booking tables in restaurants or calendar appointments, and surprisingly, none suitable for events.

    At this point we're going to see if it's possible to setup something with Duda's native store, otherwise we'll just set the client up with an external service like EventBrite…
